A mascletà traditionally takes place at 2pm every day from the 1st March to the 19th. The 'Mascleta' is a pyrotechnic spectacle in which the protagonist is the sound. On the contrary that the traditional fireworks, where the spectacle is color and light, and the sound has a secondary role, in mascleta the explosions, the rhythm, and the final sonorous earthquake are the protagonists of the spectacle.

The fourth 4ª mascletà was run by the pyrotechnic group PROFANTASIA CARLOS CABALLER.
