Andres Mena is 55 years old and has been working in the forest for 41 years. He started collecting resin when he was 14 years old and when the resin ran out, he started cutting pines.

A forest fire burnt 12.000 ha during 4 days in Guadalajara, Spain. Two years after, the story is about people adjusting to a life without forest. For some, this route has not been easy. The people featured in this multimedia project have been working all their life in the forest so, what does it take to begin all over again? How does one cope with the loss of the forest and their livelihoods?
