Raul Checa is 80 years old. He has been working all his life in the forest, first collecting resin from the trees and later he started to work with sheeps and goats. Now, he helps his son, Santiago, with the business.

A forest fire burnt 12.000 ha during 4 days in Guadalajara, Spain. Two years after, the story is about people adjusting to a life without forest. For some, this route has not been easy. The people featured in this multimedia project have been working all their life in the forest so, what does it take to begin all over again? How does one cope with the loss of the forest and their livelihoods?
