Raw1 Pictures is a colective of independent documentary photographers which was created in London in 2006 as an alternative to some global picture agencies that try to dominate the market by monopolizing commissioned work, changing the traditional roles of the photographer.

Our aim is to display independent photographers´ work and to give support to photographers to choose and document their stories using photography as a free way of expression. We understand it is important to document issues and voices which need it most and many times are misrepresented.

Concerned with the world of our time, our photographers cover environmental, social, political, economical and human issues.
